Cooperation MAK-UZH

Cooperation between the Makerere University Kampala and the University of Zurich has started as a partnership initiated by the North-South Cooperation at the University of Zurich with the signing of a Momorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2008. The agreements laid the foundations for a long-term cooperation between the universities in research and teaching and enables the bilateral mobility of students and lecturers. On these grounds, David Kyaddondo, Gitte Beckmann and Herbert Muyinda started an interdisciplinary student exchange project in 2010, which has developed into the research group Disability & Technology.
